Makerist is proud to be a platform that supports entrepreneurs and a remarkable 98% of our pattern designers are female! As well as this, the Makerist office is a predominately female workplace. We think that women creating a supportive, nurturing and safe community for each other is what International Women’s Day is all about. This year we spoke to 8 of our pattern designers about feminism, IWD and being a female entrepreneur.
We hope you enjoyed learning more about these designers and how feminism influences not just their lives, but their work and creativity. The amount of work and effort that goes into pattern creation is immense and should be celebrated!
