Time for a new DIY project! As you know, we love sewing and today we want to show you how to sew a bunch of simple pillows. It is super easy to make, even for beginners.
For this project, we teamed up with our friends from Spoonflower and used their awesome fabrics for working on the pillows.

For working on this DIY, we chose the following cute fabric designs on Spoonflower:
– Painted Black Dots on White
– Hedgehog with Leaves
– Bear Pillow Plush
– Bear with Flowers
– Unicorn and others Plush

Additionally, you’re gonna need the following supplies and tools:
– A sewing machine
– Scissors, pins, needle and thread
– Batting and pillows for your cases

Here we go!
Sew Your Own Pillows
First of all, cut out the shapes of your plushies, put two layers onto each other printed sides facing. Attach them to each other.
Next, sew around the whole shape, leaving a seam allowance of about one centimeter and leave a hole at the bottom. Then use a simple zig zag stitch in order to neaten the edges.
Turn the fabric inside out and fill the pillow with batting.
Afterwards, close the opening with needle and thread.
For sewing another pillow of about 40 x 40 cm, cut out three squares of the following sizes:
– 42 x 42 cm (width x height)
– 42 x 40 cm
– 42 x 20 cm
For the back side of the pillow, take the two smaller pieces of fabric and fold over and sew the edges where the two pieces of fabric will later overlap to close the pillow case.
Then put the layers onto each other like in the photo and sew around the whole pillow case with a seam allowance of about 1 cm.
Next, carefully cut off the corners and neaten the edges with a simple zig zag stitch. You can then turn the pillow inside out and you’re done, horray!
