Easter is around the corner and since we’re spending so much of our time inside at the moment, why not do some Easter-themed crafts? We’ve got the perfect one for you! In this tutorial find out how to make these adorable origami animals with very few supplies. This project is also perfect for trying with kids!
Material
What you’ll need for your origami animals:
- Square paper for the animals
- Smaller paper pieces or scraps for decoration
- A scissors
- Glue
- A pen or marker
1. Origami Rabbit
Fold your square pieces of paper as shown in the photos above. The bigger the piece of paper, the bigger your rabbit will be.
With your scissors, cut ears of the smaller pieces of paper. Use your pen or marker to draw on a face.
Tada! Your little origami rabbit is ready!
2. Origami Dog
Fold your square pieces of paper as shown in the photos above. The bigger the piece of paper, the bigger your dog will be.
Give your dog a face by gluing on pieces of the smaller paper. Use your pen or marker to draw on eyes, a nose and a mouth.
And there you go! You’ve made a little dog.
3. Origami Chicken
Fold your square pieces of paper as shown in the photos above.
Glue a beak and comb to your little chick and draw on a face!
And your origami chicken is ready!
Yay, you’ve made your origami animals! Use some colourful cord to string them together and hang them up for Easter.
